Mellosoft is an Australian software company that designs, develops, and publishes its own applications, including apps distributed on the Apple App Store. This policy describes how we handle personal information across our website (mellosoft.com.au) and our applications. Where an individual product has its own privacy policy, that policy applies in addition to this one.

Information we collect

Website: our website is a static site and does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking. If you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide, delivered to us by email.

Applications: our apps are designed to collect the minimum information needed to function. Where an app stores data you create, it is stored on your device or in your own accounts wherever possible. If an app requires an account or processes data on our servers, this is disclosed in that app and in its App Store listing.

How we use information

We use the information you send us to respond to enquiries, provide support, and operate our applications. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except where required to operate our services (such as email delivery) or where required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We keep correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and our records. You can ask us to delete any personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@mellosoft.com.au. We will action deletion requests within 30 days.

Third-party services

Purchases and subscriptions in our iOS apps are processed by Apple. Contact form submissions are delivered via a form-forwarding service. These providers process your information only to deliver their service to us.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you may request access to or correction of the personal information we hold about you. Contact us at hello@mellosoft.com.au and we will respond within a reasonable period.
